Ms Kanny Wai Han Kwong, BSc(Hons), LicAc, MBAcC, is a qualified Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture practitioner as well as Tuina / acupressure therapist (Chinese medicine therapeutic massage). Being a member of both British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine – both are the most well known regulatory body for the practice of traditional Chinese Acupuncture, you can be assured that the treatment you receive from her will meet the highest standard of professional care. In addition, you may be able to reclaim the cost of treatments you receive from Ms Kwong from some private health insurances schemes that recognise either BAcC or ATCM members.
She has been practicing Chinese Acupuncture and Tui na massage in the Whittington and North Middlesex Hospitals during her study at Middlesex University as well as in private clinics in the UK. Upon graduating with a first class honours in her BSc degree in Acupuncture, Ms Kwong gained further experience at two well-known Chinese Medicine hospitals in China (Guang Zhou University of Chinese Medicine and Nan Fong University of Chinese Medicine) to enhance her knowledge in Chinese Medicine before returning to United Kingdom for her part time MSc education in Chinese herbal medicine.
Ms Kwong was born in Hong Kong and has been living in the United Kingdom since 1992. She speaks fluently in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Her culturally diverse background and language skills allow her to communicate effectively with a broad client base.
